Wildfire & Emergency Response

Coldstream Helicopters is equipped to provide emergency helicopter services from our bases throughout British Columbia and Alberta, and we can mobilize aircraft to respond to incidents anywhere in the world. Our crews specialize in mountain rescue, fire suppression, and disaster services.

We have been assisting government and private organizations battle forest fires, perform search and rescue, and deliver disaster relief with experienced crews and well-equipped aircraft. We work closely with the BC Ambulance Service, the Provincial Emergency Program, national fire suppression teams, and local SAR units to provide safe, efficient helicopter services during times of distress.

With a Super Puma fleet carrying 4,000-litre belly tanks and seating for 22 firefighters in crew configuration, Coldstream brings genuine heavy-lift capacity to an incident — day or night.
